A Study on the Influence of Rail Top Smoke Exhaust and Tunnel Smoke Exhaust on Subway Fire Smoke Control

The special emergency plan for subway fires in China stipulates that when a fire occurs at train stop, it is necessary to confirm whether the mode of tunnel ventilation system implemented. Because setting and smoke exhaust station track area, rail top cannot operate same time. To study influence on control stops station, we take an island as example. A 1:1 full-scale numerical model established spread temperature field distribution, carbon monoxide concentration. results show has best effect compared with other three modes. In this mode, diffusion carriage slowest available escape time personnel longest. Therefore, recommended adopt case station; is, open outlet exhaust, organize evacuate safe position platform through connecting channel exit. If conditions permit, local small fans can also be added meet requirements exhaust. research provide guidance strong support promoting improvement plan.
